Q. Is any other state currently offering subscription services?
A. There are at least nine states currently offering subscription services. These are: Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Vermont and Virginia. The individual State Lotteries at their own expense operate all of the services. Some even offer discounts on their tickets in order to secure players.

Q. How would the SCS system be implemented in a state?
A. SCS's LottoSoft system is a turn-key custom software program and can be tailored to your Lottery's EXACT specifications and conform to any vendor's online system. SCS will provide the conformed software and offer full technical support as needed to successfully implement and maintain the program per the vendor's instructions. SCS does not require any access to the Lottery or Vendor's software or systems.

Q. What makes the SCS service unique?
A. There are many parts of this service that are unique. A few of them are (1) the ability to have a reserve account that would hold funds for future ticket purchases (2) the capability to allow players to sign up ahead of time for extra individual tickets when the jackpot reaches specific levels as determined by the player; (3) the capability to allow players to sign up ahead of time for inclusion in one or more lottery pools when the jackpot reaches specific levels as determined by the lottery; (4) the capability to make monthly payments resulting in a more convenient and affordable subscription play and therefore increased lottery sales; (5) the capability for players to review their results on-line; and (6) the capability to allow changes during the life of the subscription.

Q. Are there any security concerns?
A. No. Because LottoSoft is implemented by your online vendor it has the same security as you currently enjoy.

Q. How are winning tickets validated?
A. Because each subscribers personal information and ticket information will be on record with the lottery, validation takes place automatically. The lottery can choose from various methods to pay any winnings to their subscribers. They can include checks, ACH deposits, or winnings can be accrued in each player's account.

Q. Is the SCS service currently being operated?
A. The current SCS system is scheduled to be implemented in Idaho by Intralot in 2007. The functionality is built upon a successful program of flexible features, which has been in operation in Arizona for twelve years, in Michigan for nearly five years and in Minnesota for three years. The existing programs, while not a part of the State Lottery itself, has conducted over 400 million successful player transactions with players in a highly successful lottery pooling service. SCS has developed a comprehensive and robust program to offer state lotteries and is quite confident that it will be the subscription program of choice for those states which are looking for a significant boost to their revenues.

Q. How are Player orders placed?
A. Players can choose to be Internet Subscribers (if the Lottery so desires) or Mail-In Subscribers. Players can call on the telephone to ask questions, but for security and data integrity, they must use the mail or internet to submit their order or any changes.

Q. How do we confirm that Players are of age and have local state addresses?
A. There are various alternatives which can be discussed further.
