SCS affiliate files for patent to help State Lotteries receive acceptance by its lottery retailers to market and sell lottery tickets through channels outside the lottery retail stores by offering the retail stores with an alternative method and opportunity to generate sales of their products and services. When lottery players visit the Lottery's website they will be able to view special offers by neighborhood retailers. Offers will include coupon printing capability. The list of retailers that will appear can be by distance, e.g. 1/2 mile radius, 1 mile radius, etc. of the player's address, or the list can be the closest retailers, e.g. 20 closest to the player's address. This patent pending business method will help the Lottery to build a stronger relationship between the Lottery, its players and the retail stores by helping drive customers into the retail store and by providing the players with benefits not otherwise available.
